Used south facing picture window with bright afternoon sunlight as sole light source. Extremely high ISO 12800 and open aperture (f/4.5) to blow out light and hide tree, porch posts, and parked car in background. Tried to manually focus on leading lattice work near center but was fooled by average of front and rear lattices, true image focus is on the plane of the stem.

Used post edit to bring out the natural high key sky background for this soaring turkey buzzard, which was soaring on midday tropical rising air columns adjacent to Castillo San Felipe des Indios.
