Great Egret having a quiet moment at the beach. Taken in Sarasota at Lido Key, FL. Original shot in color and titled "Contemplation", then converted to B/W (for the challenge). The title is a reference to another photographer who made news last year with a b/w version of a photograph he had already sold in color ... Sound off in the comments if you get it!

SpaceX launches the DSCOVR satellite. The project was initially dreamed up by Al Gore (to send a satellite to the first La Grange point and then send back images of Earth), but then improved to include actual science!

This was taken from an airboat on the St John's River, outside of Christmas, FL. Pretty sure he thought we all looked like a good snack ... Bonus points for anyone who gets the reference in the title.
