Sometimes a shot simply speaks to you; it comes out of the woodwork, so to speak and begs to be taken. I knew that this would be black and white before I took the shot, and I only took two shots (knowing I got what I wanted the first time, but taking a second "just in case").

I admit, I'm not a fan of selective colouring as it always seems a bit tacky and cheap to me, very VERY rare it even comes close to working

But this shot is without doubt a diamond in the rough, perfect focus on the globe backed up by sublime bokeh

The selective colouring is so subtle, almost imperceivable and blends in perfectly with the concept
