Vancouver Island is patchy at best when it comes to our once lush gorgeous rainforest. More in town cougar sightings and bear encounters points to a lack of habitat or habitable areas for them.

We cut down their forest and kill them when they are forced into our space. Something wrong with that.

this is one of my alltime favourite shots. Even though I hated the camera I was using and the subject in it's beauty was sad and gross as a statement. This photo reminds me of when I first met my husband this was a good day and the first time I ever saw a bear!
