Try as he might, Mr Moon is too bright to blend in. But he gives it his best shot.

The white strip is Mr Moon getting in on the action.

I focused on the closest point, then zoomed out, stopped, zoned out, stopped, etc.

Fun to see how it turned out...Each time is always a bit different.

The Ferris Wheel across the water was some pretty righteous fun. The colors constantly changed, so no 2 shots are even close to the same.

My heart wasn't up to going inside the park, so I hung out on the other side of the water with my sweet doggie, Sophie Sue, taking photos of the Ferris wheel and listening to everyone laughing.

Amazing what you find when you just stop and watch the rest of the world spin. 2014.04.02

I found this jumping spider in my bathroom trash can today! I was going to set her free and thought "let's see what it looks like up close."

I have a new Sigma Macro lens, and I haven't really done macro photography before. I was so happy when I downloaded the shots and saw how interesting this little creature was.

And then I set her free.

Things I learned for next time: Manually focus, use flash (ugh), and aperture at f22 or as close to that as possible.
