I am a born and raised Oregonian now living in South Carolina, photography has always been a great passion of mine. My photography is honest, kind, at times humorous and always done with passion. I'm a proud mom to four children and my nephew and a beautiful 5 month old grandson, I am also a business owner and artist.
My love for photography really went into hyperdrive when I bought my first DSLR in 2009, it was then that I discovered I am more comfortable behind the camera. I needed to "capture" exactly what I saw so I practiced constantly, I photograph mainly landscapes, wildlife and weather related images.
I travel frequently throughout the year and I never leave my camera's behind, I need to capture our beautiful planet!
In all my travels and visiting so many beautiful places I discovered I have a love for Long Exposure Photography, especially waterfalls, lightning and cityscapes at night.

Photography is my continuous lesson of living in the moment. Not looking back at the fading light or turned head; just keeping it real with what is now, in the present. I capture that moment as I see it from my angle and I bring my unique personal history to that instant when I capture each photograph. Living in the moment and capturing it, is my way of sharing with the world how I see things; whether it be humorous, serious, playful, profound or just plain creative. Photography helps me to express my personality and how I view this world we all live in without having to say a word. My photographs, subject matter and interests evolve and change as I grow. What pleases me the most with my photography is how my pictures illicit strong responses from all those that view them. It brings me great satisfaction to please and entertain others. This is what gives me purpose and the ultimate fulfillment of an art form that shapes our lives

The James-Santee Episcopal Church in McClellanville was built in 1890 as a chapel-of-ease for the Wambaw Church within the St. James-Santee Parish. The parish was established in 1706 by the Church of England and served French Huguenots who had arrived in 1687 – two years after the revocation of the Edict of Nantes – to escape persecution for their Protestant beliefs. It was the first parish to be established outside of Charleston, and the area was called the French Santee

The event is held during winter in central Sydney over the course of three weeks in May and June. The centrepiece of Vivid Sydney is the light sculptures, multimedia interactive work and building projections that transform various buildings and landmarks such as the Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge in and around the Sydney CBD into an outdoor night time canvas of art.
