Used south facing picture window with bright afternoon sunlight as sole light source. Extremely high ISO 12800 and open aperture (f/4.5) to blow out light and hide tree, porch posts, and parked car in background. Tried to manually focus on leading lattice work near center but was fooled by average of front and rear lattices, true image focus is on the plane of the stem.

This mixed bowl of wax and stone, artificial fruits has been in my wife's family for decades. Some pieces are South American and others European and were collected during my father-in-laws Army tours to Brazil and Portugal.

Handmade sculpture, the need to be creative has washed over me like a tidal wave at the moment. Hope you like it.
