Shy, anxiety ridden, granddaughter sings a solo of "Grease is the Word."

Color version of live solo performance of my granddaughter during Bishop Dunne High School Revue. She overcame extreme shyness and anxiety through practice, stage coaching by drama teacher, and RayBan sunglasses. This was taken from the edge of stage left using my 55-300mm Sony lens attached to my Sony Alpha58 DSLR ISO800 1/100 sec f/5.6 Exp -0.3.

That shot everyone is after on Christmas Morning.

From a recent family shoot...the hands of a new family. For me, this depicts time in one of the most poignant ways.

We were showing my in-laws the beauty of Michigan. We took them through Whiting Forest. They looked so cute together, that I had to capture the moment.

Southwest of Jal lies a farm that produces hay. I was taking pictures on the property for their daughter who was elected homecoming queen, and the sunset was just right and made for an outstanding background.

Sometimes I get down on myself over photography...I think all photographers do at some time or another. But, it's days like today that I really remember why I love doing what I do. This little lady was so fun to work with, and even though baby shoots are never easy, this one felt like a breeze. Her mommy was kind enough to allow me to share some images.

just a moment. Unlike any other.

The youngest years are so fleeting in the eyes of the parent, just a blink and then it's gone.

Sat having a pint next to the laundry, and took this shot of loading the washer, the little girl jumped into the shot to help her mother just as I shot it!

This was a family getting ready for the day on a floating island in Peru. The little boy was misbehaving so he was told he would be put in a row boat and sent to a different island for the day. He decided quickly to improve his behavior and was apologizing to his mom. She was wiping away his tears and wiping his nose!

This is an aunt and her nieces in the rainforest of Costa Rica.
