Watching in silence
Peter Morley (moderator)
The 911 memorial was a very peaceful and moving place to be, maybe somewhat eerie. This shot shows the crowds of visitors, as opposed to the memorial itself, onlooking silently in the bright afternoon sun

Dance the night away
Peter Morley (moderator)
I wanted to shoot a scene with a yellow cab in, and there's other images where I have managed this. But this one had the two guys starting to party by the sid eof the road which to me gave the shot some life and realism

Times Square from the window
Peter Morley (moderator)
Most of the shots I take are when I'm stood firmly on the floor, but I must admit the one looking down on Times Square did involve some dangerous leaning out of a window!

Rain
Limes Wright
It was raining heavily. This was the only shot I got from the Empire State Building as my husband warned me I would damage the camera unless I put it away. :(

Window to New York Life
Limes Wright
A great view from the New York Public Library but the window could do with a good clean. :)

It was so busy, there was no chance of waiting for the right composition.

Accidental Selfie Reflection

Accidentally caught myself in the reflection of this building on Ground Zero, World Trade Center, NYC, NY. Goal was the architectural and geometric side of building.
