Really liked how the architects used natural stones as facades for Mountain Village Shopping Center above Telluride, CO. Low, late afternoon sun highlighted the colors and layers of this local stone. Like the matte finish of the lighting fixtures at the corner of this building.

When you're off the map and off the grid, little signs and arrows are especially important for navigation. In this case, a small sign pointing us to our designated route had been plastered with various stickers, causing me to miss a crucial turn.

Near the summit of Ophir Pass, a 4x4 trail near Ouray, Colorado. The elevation here is about 11,000 feet, where the leaves had completely turned. At lower elevations the aspens were mostly green. Taken September 26th, 2015.
