I collect Snow Babies for many reason, one is how I can always relate to them about my own babies (who are adults). There is always one to the back that has a Star to represent my angel in heaven Star.

More therapy - Keep swinging in heaven

Our art is often our therapy. As we approach the birthday of a beautiful young lady who was taken from this world due to senseless violence and a system that will ignore things at the cost of other, I can not help but do something to remember her. Hannah Elizabeth Graham, you touched so many lives, you helped save the next girl, you will always be remembered.

Train depot turned into a museum in my home town of Lake Waccamaw, NC.

One of my favorite places in the world is Lake Waccamaw, NC. This place is home, it is peace, it is solitude, it is family, it is happiness. I was blessed to capture this magnificent gift from God this past week.

Fort Washington is the oldest existing fortification erected for the defense of the national capital. This structure was started in 1814 after the original structure was destroyed during the War of 1812. This illustrates the nation's early life military science and architecture. It highlights the high masonry walls, gun positions, dry moat and drawbridge.

This sign was begging to have a photo taken. Was driving around Old Town this raining morning and though I have often thought I needed to stop and take this shot, this morning, it was truly a "Why Not" kind of day.

This challenge has brought me into the b&w side. Not something that I have experience with, but thought I would participate. Chose to start with the vanity of my bathroom. Was torn between keeping color, but think this works.

This house can be found in historical Occuquan, VA. Made me think of Hansel & Gretal.

This is a Beehive Kiln in Occuquan, VA. This was one of eight that were used in the Lorton Reformatory which housed the Women Suffrage inmates.

Working on a 6 image series for class regarding multiples. I chose Sunsets in their varying stages.

This is a composite/montage to memorialize my daughter, Star. She graced us with 6 hours of life, the items in the image are what I have to remember her by a onesie, Christening gown and cap, and her baby blanket (used as a texture).

Traveling from NC to VA yesterday, decided to shoot from the car and capture images that caught my eye while driving.

Because we needed another bench

Because they were there,

A place along the Potomac where they teach youths to build boats.

Though being homeless is a very helpless state, this man seemed to of found a way to take advantage of the surroundings and looks like he is home at least for the moment.

Funning how while walking on a path along a river bank, you find the random shells, rocks and leaves. They battle for their individual moment in our walk, but their conflict is our harmony.
