I have been meaning to do this for some time and finally got to it today

I've now broken up for the school holidays so I can start thinking about Christmas. :)

After sunrise this sculpture seemed to pop out of a primordial forest.

This plane passed close by several times. We later found that they were searching for a drowning victim, a 19 year old, who was found next day by someone walking the beach. So sad!!!

A chance shot. It is rare that you get this close to £2mill worth of Trophies. These Tourist Trophy trophies were displayed for one weekend only in the Joey Dunlop display area of the Transport Museum on the Isle of Man. These trophies have been awarded to the winners of the motorbike Tourist Trophy races since 1904. When you have no control over the display area, this type of documentary shot is very difficult.

How do you get over a dozen Lutheran pastors to smile on command?
Line them up for a group shot and state, "On the count of 3; say 'MONEY!'" Not perfect but no frowns.
Volunteered at the last minute to document the installation of our newest senior pastor at Mount Olive Lutheran Church, Aurora, CO. Almost got caught without enough power to finish service and this group shot.
Major lesson learned, "Take control and organize!" Here needed to put the older and less trim emeritus pastors behind the trimmer and, usually, younger pastors. The closer to 6-pack abs the better!

Every Christmas someone decorates this lonely tree on an otherwise uninhabited stretch of road. The other day I stopped to have a look.

This gate made me want to know what was up the road. I am sure it is something wonderful but alas, I will never know. I am pretty sure I had my picture taken too as there were surveillance cameras there.

Went this morning to take some pics down in the millyard in my hometown of Nashua New Hampshire. This was the old Nashua Manufacturing Company Cotton Mill. Now it has been made into very nice apartments..

The mouse started out as a Christmas decoration but I just felt he belonged there so he is now there year round, and yes the clock still works, when I remember to wind it.

Not really spooky but real. Took this at a Halloween party

Local coffee shop out door table carving of ultimate boredom.
The owner always paints the tables and tries to fill them, they are just replaced with new carvings days later. Repeat offenders will spend days during separate visits working on them. Most are done with the butt end of a lighter (they are in the smoking section primarily) or the end of a pen, or whatever is near by.

|But even with a regular lens I am a little wierd. :P

These little yellow fish can be seen around almost every manhole in town. The local elementary schools all cut out fish and painted them onto the streets to label the drains that lead out to fresh water where the salmon run. Least that's what I heard. Each and every one is different from the next.

On the playgrounds of my childhood,
there were slivers and pinched fingers,
there were few safety rails and nothing
was coated with anything called
"Non slip" because
Kids slip, kids slide, kids fall, kids bleed...
but play all day regardless
Children navigate their lives.
In the age of "safety" overhauling,
helicopter parenting, hovering over afraid...
We teach our children to worry, fret, and fear.

Work vs Play..

After a hard days of work..
I just love his hands and how hard they work to help support our family.. Never wishing to take the little things for granted, even if they look "gross"
his love for me and the family shows enough by how he treats me and how hard he works. He treats me like a queen!

I was just walking around town with a friend after lunch and this caught my eye, I made him and my toddler wait while I shot this and I am quite pleased with how it turned out. Just the back of an old truck been sitting for a while.
