Whilst waiting at the car dealership today for service work on my car, I downloaded the latest film and lens from Hipstamatic. I was sitting at one end of this counter and shot the other end. I like the result.

My dog-niece, Lillyanne is so chill. My niece put a bow on Lilly's head. Of course, I had to capture the moment!

My sister hosted Christmas dinner and she downsized her tree this year. I've always liked her front room/parlour. Very cozy and great spot for the tree by the fireplace.

When I snapped this photo, I felt it was Ho hum but then looking at it again...much later, I decided that I would desaturate and now, I like it.

I woke up to some very dramatic clouds this morning. We had a dusting of snow overnight and the clouds, floating in the sky this morning, are most def snow clouds! Hoping for a white Christmas.

I took this photo a while back while competing in a 5-day black and white challenge.

This is the sign of M&M Hotel in Jal, NM. Back in the day it had a reputation for catering to gentlemen looking for company. It currently sits condemned across from the high school, and the district has recently purchased it in hopes to tear it down and develop the land for something more useful and isn't such an eyesore.

Too cute to keep to myself. Just a great candid shot of a big brother kissing his little sister on the cheek. I couldn't ask for anything better than to just be there to catch it when it happened.

I'm telling you, if you're a photographer and you are in Salt Lake City, go to this library, the lines, curves, and angles are amazing!

Meads Mill is half hidden by snow- covered branches.

Meads Mill is a favourite spot for many. There's an old gatehouse and a small waterfall. It's where I practice long exposures.

Going through my photo gallery and I found this shot of Savannah and her daddy. What makes this such a perfect image to me...is the fact, Savannah's daddy is not her biological parent. You'd never have guessed from the emotions expressed by both.

I've always thought the signs for this particular street were funny, like someone just ran out of ideas while being assigned to name our town's streets.

Does this count for the B&W still life challenge if the train wasn't moving. You can disqualify it if necessary, but I'm still sharing it.

My great friends wanted a spooky photo of their Mustang in a cemetery so this is what I came up with.

Once again, I practiced on a "tolerant" subject....our rescue, Moonlight. She'll be with us 3 years, this November. Moonlight took the iPhone falling on her like a boss! Pet photography is not more forte but I do like to try.

This was taken during a backstage tour at Knott's Scary Farm this year, 2015. This particular maze was centered around the "Tooth Fairy"...it began in a child's room and then wound through the lair of a particularly wicked tooth fairy who would take more than children's fallen teeth. "Victims" were taken as well, and turned into "fairies", only not your average glitter and rainbows genre. Of all the mazes at Knott's, this is one that they have had for several years and one that is continually improved upon. Spooky isn't quite the word for what it feels to walk through this thing with all of the decoration and costumed actors jumping out at you along the way. I'm not easily scared, but this was an unnerving experience. Of course, I loved it :)

After receiving my new iPhone 6+, I decide to see for myself if the camera lived up to the hype. So, I plunked myself down and surreptitiously started to capture some mall people. These are those shots.

I gave this tunnel of trees a very dark edit by increasing the contrast and shadows whilst decreasing highlights and brightness to create the feel of walking down an eerie path.

Savannah is taking my photo!

To enhance the creepiness of this building, I choose to shoot from a side angle to emphasise shadows and give it the appearances of being haunted! Beware..,you're being watched.

Last December, the city of Farmington held their very first "Light Up The Grand" parade! Traffic was closed off on Main Street which also happens to be Grand River Avenue.Many people...young and old alike lined the sidewalk! It was a very cold night but to get a chance to see Santa up close and personal...many braved the cold!

In 2014, a large section of one of the major expressways that had been under construction for months, reopened to pedestrian traffic only. It was a big to do with many local and state dignitaries officiating. The public was allowed to walk on a two mile stretch of the refurbished freeway. Michigan's Governor lead the group. It was very fun and a wonderful experience. It's very commonplace in Michigan to have these walkabouts.

At Robert H. Long Nature Preserve, there's a man made waterfall. It's timed to allow water to run off into a nearby creek. It was golden hour when I captured this duck watching the water.

Newburgh Pointe is my fave haunt at historic Hines Park. I come here often and always seem to be drawn to the way the canoes are arranged. This is fave shot of mine and I want to share it.
