Took this whilst taking a walk in one of the Parks in Wales - Every season has its good times

The last few leaves remain,
stubborn, clinging, lifeless.

But their beauty does not wane.

I was concerned that while I loved this image it was hard to understand, then my almost two year old climbed up in my lap and said her name.

It was a bit 'meh' when I went for a wander this morning around the Durdham Downs, a park near me. It was thick with cloud, a bit foggy and my feet got soaked because I had the wrong shoes on and the grass underfoot was wet from rain and dew. As I resigned myself to the fact I would not get another chance to try and capture the wonder of the trees in Autumn before the leaves disappeared, the sun put his hat on very briefly. :)

Empty playgrounds,
Always an eerie sight,
Echos of squealing children,
ghosts of fun had in summer sunlight
travelling through the autumn mists

That is one seriously sweet treehouse out there

LB 2.0 and Canon EF 55-250mm with a polarized UV filter
The lensbaby tends to warm things, at least as far as I have noticed a shot will always be a little warmer with my LB.
There is no zoom, so naturally that affects composition. And of course the tilt, which comes from the selective focus and the bokeh as it looks is because of my aperture disc which looks like a twinkling star with some dots around it. imagine a + symbol with no center and a dot in each angle and that's pretty close. The interchangeable apertures are one of the tings that makes LB so creative!

I sat and watched the male chase the female off all week until this particular morning she decided to have a go back
