It was a gorgeous day here in Southeastern Michigan. A bit breezy but it felt good when the sunshine felt too warm! I drove out a MetroPark not too far from my house. In Michigan, we measure distance not in miles but in time. 45 minutes from my house. If I took the expressway, it would have been roughly a half hour. On Wildwing which is the longest trail around Kent Lake, I encountered two Sandhill Cranes. I was so surprised how close I was able to approach them. I took this shot with my iPhone 6 plus using the Apple camera, locked in focus(he was on the move)and voila! This is the end result! Editing was done by using the app Snapseed.
