I am originally from Southern California. After serving in the Army I stayed in Kansas for several years before recently moving to the Omaha, Nebraska area. I enjoy taking photos of every kind of genre. Sports, Landscape, and Wildlife are among my favorites though. I also enjoying using my LEGO and action figure collections as subjects in my images as well.

I took this image while assisting with my son's Cub Scout Pack during a week long day camp at Camp Wankonda (Bellevue), Nebraska. I noticed the cicada while we were moving from one event to another. I had to stop and take the shot.
