I was privileged to photograph in this beautiful church on a bright sunny day.

Like the variegated reds and greens of this tree, and the strong vein lines.

Used Picasa for post work on this cell/smartphone capture of neighborhood sugar maple, which is undergoing fall color changes. Really like the contrasting red-green colored patches.

I was at Newburgh Pointe to have a look see if anything would be worth shooting. I came to this area and it was simply beautiful!

Shot at Millstream Gardens Conservation area in Fredericktown, Missouri

The Katydid...different angle and desaturated. They have a life of 24 hours and I suspect this one is actually dying.

The James-Santee Episcopal Church in McClellanville was built in 1890 as a chapel-of-ease for the Wambaw Church within the St. James-Santee Parish. The parish was established in 1706 by the Church of England and served French Huguenots who had arrived in 1687 – two years after the revocation of the Edict of Nantes – to escape persecution for their Protestant beliefs.

I pass but his water tower a lot and have thought that it was a cool image waiting to be snapped. This particular shot Iused the Apple camera and then edited in Snapseed. I really like how th image turned using an HDR filter.
