I had an amazing experience on Friday, I tracked down and followed a herd of wild horses and was eventually accepted into the group. I spent the entire afternoon walking with them in the foothills of the Alberta Rockies surrounded by some of the most breathtaking scenery Alberta has to offer, this was a once in a lifetime experience to be surrounded by wild horses and move with them in their natural habitat.

A small, about 6 inches tall, palm tree strives for a root hold at the end of the sidewalk along the small boat harbor in Oranjestad, Aruba.

This gorilla at the Franklin Park Zoo in Boston had a baby this past summer..Here I believe the newborn was about a month old

LB 2.0 and Canon EF 55-250mm with a polarized UV filter
The lensbaby tends to warm things, at least as far as I have noticed a shot will always be a little warmer with my LB.
There is no zoom, so naturally that affects composition. And of course the tilt, which comes from the selective focus and the bokeh as it looks is because of my aperture disc which looks like a twinkling star with some dots around it. imagine a + symbol with no center and a dot in each angle and that's pretty close. The interchangeable apertures are one of the tings that makes LB so creative!

Sometimes I get down on myself over photography...I think all photographers do at some time or another. But, it's days like today that I really remember why I love doing what I do. This little lady was so fun to work with, and even though baby shoots are never easy, this one felt like a breeze. Her mommy was kind enough to allow me to share some images.
