Like the play of monotones across the entire image of el Arco at Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Our cabin and balcony were on the correct side to watch these crags as Coral Princess crept past the end of the Baja Peninsula in the light of dawn.

We crept into Cabo San Lucas at dawn late in our cruise through the Panama Canal. Luckily, our cabin and balcony were on the side to watch the play of early morning light along the crags which form Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

College Fjord is a fjord located in the northern sector of Prince William Sound in the U.S. state of Alaska. The fjord contains five tidewater glaciers (glaciers that terminate in water), five large valley glaciers, and dozens of smaller glaciers, most named after renowned East Coast colleges (women's colleges for the NW side, and men's colleges for the SE side). College Fjord was discovered in 1899 during the Harriman Expedition, at which time the glaciers were named. The expedition included a Harvard and an Amherst professor, and they named many of the glaciers after elite colleges. According to Bruce Molina, author of Alaska's Glaciers, "They took great delight in ignoring Princeton."

I like the dark underside vulture T-shape against the light chest and abdomen feathers of this cruising condor and the combination of the darker shadows of one wing tip in contrast with the translucence of the other tip. Would like feed back on graduated tint applied to the blown out tropical, midday sky.

The brisk midday, tropical winds ran into the highest hill in Cartagena, Columbia, and the vertical stone walls of Castillo de San Felipe creating excellent updrafts for the local condors to cruise effortlessly. The condor in the background lost lift and flapped back into the column.

I am blessed with the ability to open my left eye for wide vision alongside my camera while right eye through the viewfinder yields a binocular tunnel on bird in flight. This is one of several I will post seeking detailed feedback on editing of live action to compensate for blown out heavy haze of sea level tropical midday sun.
