I submitted a photo of this same bird (a tern) on the same piece of wood yesterday. Of course, I don't really know if it's the same bird, but considering he is the only tern in the area, it seems like he sits here waiting to catch fish. I was surprised to see him again, and once more, I was able to get very close without him flying away.

Eleanor Rigby died in the church
And was buried along with her name
Nobody came

No one was saved

This teddy bear and a couple of other stuffed animals tucked inside the tree knoll was found in the knoll of a tree next to a highway. Begs the question: Is it is a memorial? Nevertheless, it is a touching and sweet image.

This was one of those shots that just sort of happened. I was waiting for the sunset and saw "the man on the lonely rock" and took a few snaps.
