Before I was able to make this picture, I was hiking for 45 minutes, with a 150m (50ft) height difference.
On this shot you're looking over the south area of Lake Garda, with Garda (the village) in the middle

Space is big. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mind- bogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist's, but that's just peanuts to space.

There's a starman waiting in the sky
He'd like to come and meet us
But he thinks he'd blow our minds

Taken at 11pm in Ecuador Cotopaxi region, first time that I have really experimented with Astro-photography, so being my first picture I was kind of impressed and the result spurred on a passion for the night sky for when I returned to Wales.

This was shot around 6:30am on 28/9/15. The moon was moving so fast, it had completely disappeared about five minutes after I'd taken this.

You can see a slight shadow to the moon as the eclipse was starting. Due to horrendous cloud cover that night, this is the clearest shot I could capture.

Taken during a night shoot on Fuerteventura, this is the Tefia windmill lined up with a fantastic Milky Way show. The island is now a UNESCO Dark Skies destination, so the light pollution is minimal leading to the Milky Way easily being visible by the naked eye.

Sunrise. When you get the sun rising under a flat layer and equal height of clouds it can dramatically light up the clouds. But, only for a short period of time. 5mins after this picture all was uniform grey

A 22° halo is one type of optical phenomenon, forming a circle with a radius of approximately 22° around the Sun, or occasionally the Moon (also called a moon ring or winter halo). It forms as sunlight is refracted in millions of randomly oriented hexagonal ice crystals suspended in the atmosphere. The halo is large; the radius is roughly the size of an outstretched hand at arm's length. A 22° halo may be visible on as many as 100 days per year—much more frequently than rainbows.

Strawberries are usually harvested in the month of June and when a full moon occurs in June according to the Farmer's Almanac, the moon is referred to a Strawberry Moon. I was thinking that it would have a pinkish tinge from some atmospheric change but no...

This was taken by me in between Clines Corners and Lamy New Mexico. It's a 3 shot panoramic taken with a 15mm Sigma Fisheye, a Canon 6D, at 25-30 Seconds ISO 4000. I love astrophotography, and landscapes. I enjoy the adventure in roaming my state. © Jose R. Sandoval (ONYXONE)
