Hee hee! My first using Nik for post processing. I had to be quick as the frost was melting very quickly whilst I was having a go at this. Thank you to Phil Reay, Tim Clay and Craig Gibson for posting about this software in the first place. :D

So glad to have captured many shots of this particular site as it is not longer in existence, being replaced with housing.

Does anyone else get fed up trying to think of a title for their images too...?

Despite temps being well below freezing, it was rather a spectacular morning
Frost, fog and water make the perfect combination

I was so excited to wake up to a crisp and frosty Winter's morning, particularly as it was the weekend so I could go out and have some fun. I was focusing so hard, I didn't even realise my bare toes were on the frost. They don't appear to have gone black....yet. :)

shoot all

THe strangest frost I have ever seen, tall and hair-like, over an inch long...
Coming out of a rotting branch, everything else was thawed.

So strange.

I love the shapes taken by the frost, the many petals and spikes.
Eternally fascinating.

Was in the backyard and noticed that there's been a frost already. Too early in the year but then this year's summer has been very chilly, cool and rainy. Summer didn't officially arrive until the last week of July. Then, it's been sporadic...

Rime frost on some berries. Found this while walking my dog and had to run back to the house and grab the camera before the sun came out and ruined everything. Mission accomplished!
