I found this rather tricky as it was slightly windy and the rain droplets were so tiny, I could only just make out there was some pink in one of them and hoped for the best. The refracted image is of a potted azalea plant about 4 metres away sitting on the patio with foliage behind it. Every tiny movement I made, along with the wind blowing, meant it was difficult to maintain focus. I know I really should use a tripod but I like shooting freehand, I was therefore really thrilled with this. :D

Found these pretty little leaves basking in the sunlight and dancing in the bokeh...they were just begging to be shot ;)

Been playing with depth of field and shooting a lot with my 50mm 1.8...this plant is in the back of my yard, and it has such a tropical vibe to it.

I've not had time for much photography practice lately and, I think I've also gone off it. :( I forced myself outside to have a go after a heavy rain shower.

Well a nice scenery doesn't go unnoticed on a good day in Wales!

Walking along in the rain one afternoon and I happened upon this japanese maple leaf on the ground with a heart shaped hole in it. I`d never have noticed had I not had my camera in mind. Photography has helped me so much to take stock of the small things in life and notice the little details that make life grand.
