Capturing the sun reflecting off the mist from Niagara Falls. This was a chilly winter sunset.

In case its not obvious, I am an animal lover. I have adopted/rescued 3 guinea pigs, 2 cats and 1 dog so far. My goal is to use my photography skills to help shelter animals find their forever homes. This little girl was one adoptee. She loved chirping for more food.

This little guy wanted to see what I was using to take photos of him!

So I love animals, and love photographing them! This is Khalessi, and she often plays in and hides in her toy basket.

Winter 2015 in Niagara Falls, NY. There is no snow to be seen, and the temperatures in the 50s F. But we saw a beautiful rainbow.

Its snowing today. It reminded me of the time my dogs had to play in the snow when it was -30F outside.

This photograph took me about 2 years to make.When I first saw this tree it was mid summer 2 years earlier. I knew It would be a good photo opp some day with the right conditions. So every once in a while I would take a hour drive to Maryland on my way to a cool water fall and check this dead tree and the conditions! On this day they were right on! Slow moving clouds clear no humidity just enough breeze to blow the corn that was just about ready for harvesting .

We were showing my in-laws the beauty of Michigan. We took them through Whiting Forest. They looked so cute together, that I had to capture the moment.

Birthday photo session with a 4 year old. She is terrified of the camera, so I started the session discretely following her around capturing candids.

Well for ages I had been trying to capture some squirrels on camera, but like humming birds, they were always too fast...so I lured them...in the less evil way of putting that...with quavers crisps, then they were in my control and so i captured as many photos as I liked...proud moments

I learned how to do matte effect on photo shop today! I'm so happy now.

My first time using reflectors and not having anyone to help. We made it work!

She knew that she got into something she wasn't supposed to. I caught her causing mischief, and she ran and hid. So I did what anyone would do... grab the camera!

Looking forward to Autumn and all the colors and photo ops it brings! Dow Gardens, Midland, MI Fall 2014.

The Tridge, Midland, Michigan

This is Devil's Den in historic Gettysburg Pennsylvania! I was not intending to stop here on this day but as the sun rose above the clouds beams of light came popping through shining down on this historic place of battle when two sides clashed for three days July 1 -july 3 1863 leaving 51,000 brave soldiers dead! As I photographed the light I could not help but think how the sun might be warming the souls of the deceased .

An old farm house in Lopez Pa! This farm house was tucked deep in the country found this totally by accident! The colors of fall were definitely calling to be photographed!

My favorite picture that I have ever captured. We were feeding giraffes on our honeymoon, but this guy was more interested in the camera lens than his food! This capture was all luck!
