This is a greeting card that I created inkeeping with the current tend of vintage/antique vehicle designs for 2018

High key detail of my weekly bouquet for my wife. Used south facing picture window with bright afternoon sunlight as sole light source. Extremely high ISO 12800 and open aperture (f/4.5) to blow out light and hide tree, porch posts, and parked car in background.

Recent still life emphasizing my 1950s, plastic, puffy horse ornament. My brother and I argued for almost 20 years whose was this horse and whose was the puffy yellow clown; I won when I established my family and household first and selected this among other personal ornaments.

Loving Springtime this year. The contrast of the strong oak and carpet of wildflowers is eye catching.

I took this at a rodeo recently with my Nikon D7100 and 70-200 f2.8 lens

Dreaming of the Bird King,
Dressed his best,
In all his dripping sparkles,
His disjointed shadow reflected,
Staring out, in quiet contemplation,
Ravens play in the winds of the coming storm,
Talking in the distance,
All is in motion, frozen in a moment
I'll hold my shiny balloons,
until the wind carries me away.

You can see a slight shadow to the moon as the eclipse was starting. Due to horrendous cloud cover that night, this is the clearest shot I could capture.

A re-vamp of an old favourite.

My first time urban exploring was to a former grandiose retirement home called Arnold Home. Located in Detroit, Michigan. Open during the fifties, sixties and seventies only to be closed in the eighties. Ravished by scrappers in search of copper pipes, it was a weirdly, eerie experince but I'm hooked. This image is what was left of the grand piano that graced the reception area.

This image was part of a collective photography shoot for a good friend of mine called Carrie. The idea was to shoot the toy doll as normal then turn it into her very own cartoon image.
