On a dismal cold day a stray bit of light caught this bloom

It's difficult to encapsulate Nassau in one shot, there were so many places to photograph and I can't upload them all. But mostly, to me, the simple colours are what make the place so lovely

This little girl was celebrating her 3rd Birthday and I had the honour of photographing the celebration.

You may like to put some shades on before looking at these crocuses.

My grandchildren did some posing for me a few years ago and this is one of my favourites.

Took this whilst taking a walk in one of the Parks in Wales - Every season has its good times

Taken in the Jewish Getto, Rome, Italy in July 2015. I was intrigued with so many windows, doors and the lovely circular stairway.

Early morning down by the river produced a stunning sunrise across the water, but immediately behind me was this office building
As I turned around to return to the car, I saw the sunrise reflected in this tall window
I thought it made a great abstract shot, reminded me of a colour swatch you get in paint stores

Totally fascinated with the ancient forest in Wales lately.

Well I've been snapping away at a certain location in Wales for some time now, as the trees turn colour and the leaves start to fall. I think that this forest is putting on a beautiful display.

A lovely evening with the setting sun.

It was a bit 'meh' when I went for a wander this morning around the Durdham Downs, a park near me. It was thick with cloud, a bit foggy and my feet got soaked because I had the wrong shoes on and the grass underfoot was wet from rain and dew. As I resigned myself to the fact I would not get another chance to try and capture the wonder of the trees in Autumn before the leaves disappeared, the sun put his hat on very briefly. :)

This capture of the vivid colouring started my day off with a bang!

This done in camera. This is done with moving your camera on a long exposure.

|But even with a regular lens I am a little wierd. :P

These little yellow fish can be seen around almost every manhole in town. The local elementary schools all cut out fish and painted them onto the streets to label the drains that lead out to fresh water where the salmon run. Least that's what I heard. Each and every one is different from the next.

Turns out I can still use my regular lens :P

What is green is gold. What is pink is gold
What is purple, orange, yellow, faded and worn.
Is gold.

Autumn GOLD

Hi, this is my first post to WPC.. This is an Autumn shot of a naturally formed tree tunnel on a walking trail through, Llwyn-on, in the Brecon Beacons , south Wales, UK

The sheen of fresh dew on the face of a clover kissed by the sun.
And my husband says as I am kneeled down on the wet ground in my dress as close as I can get "why don't you just take photos of things at face level?"

*sigh*

Shot with basically the equivalent of a magnifying glass on my lens. (bought a 20$ macro lens that screws apart, so I screwed it apart!)

This was shot free lens with my canon in early morning light, let in too much light but turned out very stark looking and I liked it.

sometimes I have trouble choosing between colour and monochrome. In this case I am in a deadlock.

Day lillies are beautiful. But only for a day.

I think these are called butterfly blossoms? Not sure but when I got in close I saw how spectacular they are individually even on such a small scale.

Always interested in tiny details. Fixated on the little things that can't be replicated.

Spent the evening with the grandparents on their farm playing with the dogs and running through the unruly garden.
