A 'Toy Town' which is really a real city, photographed from a bridge and given treatment to look like a model. I accomplished this by blurring everything but the center region of the photo, then using a surface blur on rooftops, etc. to make real houses and cars appear to be toys.

I love the little downtown area of Pismo Beach. I was out searching for "benches", and happened upon this little guy enjoying one...so I made him part of the scene.

While touring the snow damage of 2014 in York Pa. I spotted this cold and lonely bench .

Every day, thousands of shipping containers are marshaled through the Port of Miami, but somehow I have a hard time working up up the motivation to pack my suitcase ...

For me, this shot encompasses Bristol's many layers of rich cultural heritage. The picture represents its: maritime (harbourside) and industrial past (M Shed); economic significance as an important financial centre (Lloyds Headquarters); tourism (boats); and green credentials as 2015 European Green Capital (bicycles).

I couldn't make up my mind whether I preferred it in colour or black and white so apologies they're both up.

On trip a while back to Southern California, I found my way to the "infamous" Sunken City in San Pedro. A good portion of the entire city slipped off of the edge of the cliff and was reclaimed by the ocean. It is fenced and guarded, but with the right timing and directions, there are ways to get in, which I did. Eerie cool place, and a must see for anyone who is into "Urban Expoloration".

Rock City near Chattanooga- Lover's Leap. I wasn't sure if they would allow tripods or not, so I chose not to take one. I wish I would have taken one, this would have came out much better.

Some of you know that I've posted a similar photo before, but this time I was on my regular editing PC and was able to edit the RAW image and tone down highlights and have more control across the board.

Though hard to believe, this is an honest representation of the colors in the sky Saturday night. The colors were so saturated, even with a a low exposure compensation the saturation was still peaking the histogram.

This is a shot of NYC looking towards Times Square. Photo taken from the 86th floor observatory of the Empire State Building.

A complicated bit of white balancing going on, with different colored light sources. I managed to find a happy medium without selectively adjusting the WB.

Long exposure, 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 L. This heavy lens needs a really sturdy tripod at night.
