Didn't stick around too long. There were four of them after all. As a trained (but lapsed) First Aider and RLSS Life Guard, I didn't fancy jumping in to rescue one of these guys.

Found this image interesting with the early morning sun glancing off a Denver, CO, skyscraper behind shaded trees and bike racks.

Just love these guys, their attitude was just superb!!

A visually appealing display of table side carved, wood smoked, slow roasted Peking duck meat. This was our first taste of the world famous food, which had been selected by our hostess, Lori Zhang, VP for Marketing at Four Seasons Hotel, Beijing, China, to cap off a selection of local delicacies, which included sun dried cherry tomato appetizer and sweet and sour pork, using strawberries in place of pineapple.

A shot of my boxer Rocky taken a few years ago. Just happened to find it the other day and decided to convert it to B/W. Don't know why I waited so long!!

Early in September, before the fall colors really got going, I found this one tree with some color on it. This was a place called Lower Lewis Falls, in Washington. I had seen a lot of images from this place, and wanted to try for something a bit different.

We were showing my in-laws the beauty of Michigan. We took them through Whiting Forest. They looked so cute together, that I had to capture the moment.

The Kingfisher is a bird I've always wanted to shoot, but never had the opportunity. The other night, I was served this beer in an Indian restaurant in South Kensington, and I thought "why the hell not?" Lighting was pretty cool and funky, but I think I got it balanced.

Birthday photo session with a 4 year old. She is terrified of the camera, so I started the session discretely following her around capturing candids.

Savannah had rummaged through my prop bag only to find my 55-200mm Nikkor lens. She was mimicking my actions! Such a fun and curious toddler!

Redwood National is a place that has to be experienced. Photos don't quite do justice.

The time is approaching to rake those leaves...good luck with that!

This is one of the prettiest sunsets I have ever seen, my camera, try as I might, just couldn't capture the true majesty of this particular end to a day.

DuPont State Forest~Western North Carolina

The Lake District in the UK is a photographer's playground. This view falls into a landscape type that I love, broad valleys. There's another much nearer to me that I'm going to explore, it being one of my favorite long-view valleys.

Had the idea for this photo in advance. Waited for the right "stormy day" and chose a little traveled local rode. I'm always nervous having models walk on roads or train tracks, but I just love the visual of it. Lots of shots on that day; this was one of my favorites.
