I wanted to shoot a scene with a yellow cab in, and there's other images where I have managed this. But this one had the two guys starting to party by the sid eof the road which to me gave the shot some life and realism

This little picture was taken at Salmon Valley, British Columbia on New Years Eve. The weather was 23 degrees below 0 ...but having a thermos full of coffee and baileys kept me warm.

Loving the textures of old meets new

I was finally able to make it up to New England during the fall. Unfortunately, they hadn't had their cold snap yet. Thank goodness, my son was able to drive me an hour north of Boston, near the border of New Hampshire. A beautiful treat, yet, patchy in fall foliage. I still feel blessed to have captured this. Makes me want more!

This was taken the long way back from Las Cruces N.M., to Albuquerque. This shot is in-between Bingham and Socorro N.M.

This is a shot of NYC looking towards Times Square. Photo taken from the 86th floor observatory of the Empire State Building.

This old structure had been around since the 30s. Mainly brick and mortar with old leaded glass windows. It used to be a warming center for ices skaters but nowadays is used for storage and as a backdrop for high school senior and wedding photos. I've always thought it could have an ominous and even sinister tone so I went with that feeling when editing.

Amidst one of my very first "sport action" photos. I adore polo and decided to whip out my camera while juggling a 9 month old baby in my lap and a ball driven border collie's leash on my belt loop. To get any shot that was "decent" seemed somehow to be a miracle at multi-tasking!
