Didn't stick around too long. There were four of them after all. As a trained (but lapsed) First Aider and RLSS Life Guard, I didn't fancy jumping in to rescue one of these guys.

Friday night fireworks mark the end of the Isle of Man TT Races. To get this position and a reflection off the sea means going out to the furthest Pier. Conditions were almost ideal.

My wife, Jane, on our treadmill passes the time reading a book. Light source is from nearby north facing, sliding glass door. Vignette added post to evenly tone edges and match outfit.

I took a friend out to his favorite bow hunting spot in the marsh for some shots.

I was pleased to get this result at our local country club on 4th of July 2015. The reflection of the fireworks and the remnants of the sunset behind give it such an awesome affect! I will have to search down the EXIF, can't believe it isn't attached to the image! UGH

What you see here is the last bastion of steel making on Teesside, this blast furnace has been here for the last 100 years and news has now been confirmed that it will shut with the loss of over 2000 jobs on site and countless numbers as a knock on effect

Around a century ago there where 99 blast furnaces along this river, all producing steel that built the world, with this final closure it brings a history of 170 years of steel making in Teesside to an end

Taking this photo did pose some difficulties. The wind direction affected the outcome very much. Handling the dark cityscape on one side and the bright fireworks on the other was the biggest challenge to me.

Was taking photos of a conditioning clinic, when I caught my dear friend doing "field work" for an upcoming tournament. Volunteer's work is never done.

Work vs Play..

After a hard days of work..
I just love his hands and how hard they work to help support our family.. Never wishing to take the little things for granted, even if they look "gross"
his love for me and the family shows enough by how he treats me and how hard he works. He treats me like a queen!

Taken two years ago, just going through old stuff and thought this "mistake" made a cool abstract.

This is an unedited photo I took while in a little patch of forest in the park nearby my house. I have never seen flowers like this and they reminded me of fireworks.
