I see a climbing man on the branch.
This service berry tree was shocked by near zero temperatures and champagne powder snowfall. 1st frost was over 4 months ago, however, most of the days have been unseasonably warm, which fooled this and many other plants into beginning their spring growth.

Before I was able to make this picture, I was hiking for 45 minutes, with a 150m (50ft) height difference.
On this shot you're looking over the south area of Lake Garda, with Garda (the village) in the middle

I spotted this guy blowing into his Sax in Nassau and immediately took a few shots, spent some time talking to the guy afterwards, but only after parting with a few dollars in his tip bucket first...

There is a little town on old route 66 between Kingman and Flagstaff Arizona...fun little town with great food, friendly people and very camera friendly

This is friend John who is a retired fireman. This machine was the first one he worked on, we were very pleased to find it. John was a fireman at the time of the IRA Brighton bombing, of the Grand Hotel, in 1984. He was one of the first into the hotel to rescue injured/dead people from the unstable building.

I couldn't pass up this great character I saw... Bet he has some stories to tell

With a minor war chest of $11K, he won the party nomination to challenge the appointed incumbent in November.

Back in about 1975, I was driving up highway 89 to SLC. I passed this old guy and his wagon and hit the brakes hard.. I went back with my camera of course and struck up a conversation with him. He told me that every spring he leaves Tucson Az headed for Jackson Hole Wy to teach the the boy scouts survival training. I asked if I could take some pictures and he said why sure but most folks tip me a bit to help feed my boys here. I had no problem with that and this is what I came up with. I really thought these negatives were long gone. You can't imagine my excitement when I found them.

A right angle twist turns a standard downward performance trumpet position into a trumpet, praise to heaven, fanfare. Trumpet solo was part of Christmas Eve candlelight service at Mount Olive Lutheran Church, Aurora, CO.

Storm drain at one of my favorite beaches...an interesting view of man and nature.

This was a tough shot to get...fast moving crowd, very tough lighting, super dark, but I wanted to maximize the catch light in her eyes while slowing the shutter just enough to give a little blur to her hands as she "cast her spell". Taken inside one of the Knott's Scary Farm mazes.

foggy focus but liked how it turned out

Local coffee shop out door table carving of ultimate boredom.
The owner always paints the tables and tries to fill them, they are just replaced with new carvings days later. Repeat offenders will spend days during separate visits working on them. Most are done with the butt end of a lighter (they are in the smoking section primarily) or the end of a pen, or whatever is near by.

This is where I live, where I was born, where I taught for many years. 7 towns or villages around the edge. Douglas is the Capital of the Isle of Man, British Isles.

At Robert H. Long Nature Preserve, there's a man made waterfall. It's timed to allow water to run off into a nearby creek. It was golden hour when I captured this duck watching the water.
