This is a greeting card that I created inkeeping with the current tend of vintage/antique vehicle designs for 2018

After hearing reports about the flowers blooming on St Helens, a few of my friends and I decided to head up.. The night was so clear and beautiful, it was the perfect evening

Shot this while out roaming around NM one night.....

A deep maroon lily growing in our flower bed is framed by its neighboring ice plant.

Best known for it's amphitheater where first class concerts are held nearly every weekend, the blue Colorado sky brings out the color in the area's geological features.

This structure, the only remaining covered bridge in Ontario was designed by John Bear in 1880, on the authority of Woolwich Township Council, to replace an earlier bridge over the Grand River. Built a year later by John and his brother, Benjamin, the 198-foot bridge was covered to protect the wooden flooring and frame against the elements. Known locally as the Kissing Bridge, it later came under the jurisdiction of Waterloo County. In 1937 the province assumed responsibility for the Guelph-Elmira Road, including the West Montrose Bridge, and its floor and sub-structure were subsequently rebuilt and reinforced.

Conditions were dreadful for photos........

I noticed this bee wasn't very energetic so I kept an eye on it to see whether it would fly away. When it didn't, I thought that perhaps it was really tired and lacking in energy so I went and got some sugared water. I went amongst the plants and tried not to trample them, then carefully spooned some water next to it. I tried to get the water as close as possible without getting it onto the bee for risk of hurting it. It still didn't move for the few minutes I kept watch over it so I smoothed the water over as close as I could. At last, the bee managed to draw enough energy to make a little lunge into the water. I then left it alone and just been to take a look and it's flown away! :D

Official shuttle boat pulls alongside Ocean Princess to return Dardanelles pilot to shore after another safe transit into Black Sea.
Like the boat and wake oriented at an upward angle to frame, which helps convey impression of speed to this image. Good colors for low early morning lights with light overcast skies diffusing the light.

Salora was elegantly placing cars out for me and playing with them. Cars are all the rage with the two children i live with.

This was taken at the Oklahoma City Zoo. Seemed like he just wanted his picture taken.

Take with iPhone 6 Plus using the native camera and the only lighting was a CFL bulb offside.

Taken from a sandbar on Woman Key, about six miles off the coast of Key West. The water was so smooth, the sky and water just blended together in the distance and made it impossible to see where one ended and the other began.

Couldn't resist stopping for a shot with the snow coming down

It was exciting to take a little day trip to the nearby foothills where it is almost looking like a Hallmark Christmas Card.

I love the expression on it`s face!

Like the variegated reds and greens of this tree, and the strong vein lines.

Used Picasa for post work on this cell/smartphone capture of neighborhood sugar maple, which is undergoing fall color changes. Really like the contrasting red-green colored patches.

A beautiful red kite taken on a trip to stokenchurch

I am looking at using this as background for an advertising sheet. The goal is to generate photo session appointments in similar photo-collages of motorcycles, classic, muscle, and low rider cars, and off road vehicles. The shots were taken in 2 sessions; one late night to capture something before the operators left in the morning; 2nd in early morning sunlight as sun crested the mountain ridges to the east. Anyone have suggestions on action text? Message me, thank you.

Surreal blue casting

There's a song by Billy Talent that in so many ways speaks to me of the town in which I live.
Sometimes it's so beautiful, but it's such a sad little place.

Empty playgrounds,
Always an eerie sight,
Echos of squealing children,
ghosts of fun had in summer sunlight
travelling through the autumn mists

This was extremely hard to capture. Up in a small tree above my head on an overcast misty day... Testing my limits indeed.

Peering through the fence - see what you can see

Sheer boredom has forced me to don my hat, coat and boots and brave the deluge

Autumn GOLD

Items left behind by daughter when she left for college.

Me and my Mrs + dogy spent the last week in Yorkshire. I took this photo in Grassington. I rarely do a selective colour one but I was sure it must be that.

Reach young oak,

This photo was shot in the morning about 9.30 am in a garden. The angular sunlight coming through the red flower was giving a beautiful glow due to hollowness. While I was clicking the picture a honey bee came flying to suck the sweetness and got captured in this perfect position after few clicks.

Oaken broken branches unfallen,
dried; hang in waiting
for someone to drag them away.

Those who paint the colours of fall,
will splash red the leaves of the oaks,
fall all who wearily weather the seasons,
heaped in a crunching pile to blow south
for the winter

Redwood National is a place that has to be experienced. Photos don't quite do justice.

An old farm house in Lopez Pa! This farm house was tucked deep in the country found this totally by accident! The colors of fall were definitely calling to be photographed!

One I captured on the Bus, taken from my lap the young people obviously sharing a moment.

Sunrise. When you get the sun rising under a flat layer and equal height of clouds it can dramatically light up the clouds. But, only for a short period of time. 5mins after this picture all was uniform grey

Single Red Arrow with red smoke, at speed.

This flower looks soft and gentle; I therefore find it ironic it's the flower of a hot chilli plant. :)
